What does the Strong Impact Sensitivity while Parked Setting do?

You can set the Impact Detection Sensitivity to notify all phone's logged in to the Thinkware Cloud Account if a strong impact is detected while parked.

*The Network Function Setting must be enabled to receive notifications while parked. For more information, click here.

The impact must be 3 or 4G's for your smartphone to be notified.

1G: An acceleration of 1G equates to a rate of change in velocity of approximately 35 kilometers per hour (22 mph) for each second that elapses.

Impact 1 = 3G
Impact 2 = 4G

 Selecting the sensitivity for the Strong Impact Notification while Parked Setting;

  1.  Connect to the Dash Cam via WiFi or Hotspot
  2.  Select Dash Cam Settings > Network Function Settings
  3.  Select Impact 1 or 2.
  4. Select the back arrow in the top-left to save your changes.

*The Incident will only be uploaded to the Cloud if the G-Force threshold has been surpassed.

Lastly, choose if you want to enable uploading impact videos while parked.
